The exhibition was first presented at the Haus der Kunst München in 2023 under the title “Inside Other Spaces. Environments by Women Artists 1956-1976.” The presentation at the M+, the first edition of this traveling exhibition in Asia, is curated by Andrea Lissoni, Artistic Director of Haus der Kunst München, and Marina Pugliese, Director of the Museum of Cultures, Intercultural Projects and Public Art of the City of Milan, in collaboration with Russell Storer, Senior Curator and Associate Director of Curatorial Affairs of the M+.

The exhibition includes twelve environments created by pioneering artists from Asia, Europe, North and South America from the 1950s to the present, including three new installations commissioned from Asian artists. These immersive, multisensory works invite visitors to enter and interact with the space, emphasizing that art is experienced and understood through the mind and body.
Nanda Vigo is featured with a reconstruction of Ambiente cronotopico vivibile, first made in 1967 at Galleria Apollinaire in Milan.
